We will provide bus transportation to and from the school venues:

June 26th

The bus will leave from Porta Susa Station in Turin at 12.30 pm and will arrive in Aosta at 2.30 pm.

The bus will leave from Aosta at 7.30 pm and will arrive in Cogne at 8.30 pm. In Cogne, the bus will stop here and here. Please check the address of your stay and plan accordingly.

June 30th

The bus will leave from Cogne at 2.30 pm and will arrive in Turin (Porta Susa Station) around 4.30 p.m.

 

Participants wishing to reach the school venue by their own means will find useful information below

Cogne is 21 km away from the town of Aosta. It can be reached by car by Regional Road SR47.  Otherwise, one can reach Aosta by train and take a public bus to Cogne (departs every 2 hours approximately).
Here you can find timetables for the Aosta-Cogne bus line.

A free bus service operates within the village of Cogne. Timetables and other info can be found on the Turismo di Cogne website.

A taxi service is also available (see Turismo di Cogne for details).

How to get there

By car

Leave the  A5 highway at the “Aosta Ovest” exit, then follow directions to Cogne (about 21 km).

By train

The nearest train station is in Aosta. Buses to Cogne leave from the square in front of the station.  If arriving by train to Torino, please check the By Bus section.

By plane

The closest airport is Torino-Caselle. Other airports in the area are Milano- Malpensa and Geneva Cointrin. From there, you should take a bus to Aosta or Torino Porta Susa (see By Bus section).

By bus

Sadem buses connect the airports of Torino-Caselle and Milano-Malpensa with the Torino Porta Susa train station. See timetables:  from and to Milano Malpensafrom and to Torino Caselle.

To go from Torino Porta Susa to Aosta, you can take a bus of the Savda company.
